Owens Harkey Advertising named Brad Casper, former president and CEO of Scottsdale-based Dial Corporation/Henkel, to the newly created role of Executive Chairman of the agency. Casper’s work with the agency as a strategic advisor over past several months evolved into this influential leadership position. His new role ensures the company will continue its dynamic growth, and be better prepared to meet the demands of its growing client base.
Brad Casper has been a leading local business executive since his arrival in Arizona more than a decade ago when he began at Dial, the $1.5 billion consumer goods giant. He has a diverse track record of success in a broad cross-section of companies and industries, leading some of the world’s most iconic brands such as Pantene, Tide and Arm & Hammer along the way. He has more than 30 years of experience in all facets of advertising, marketing and general management in leadership roles at General Electric, Procter & Gamble, The Dial Corporation and the Phoenix Suns, in addition to a board of directors role at Grand Canyon Education.

Casper most recently served as the president and CEO of Dogswell, LLC, a private-equity backed company based in Los Angeles that markets natural, premium pet products. But he is most known for his work locally as the former president and CEO of The Dial Corporation in Scottsdale and President of the Phoenix Suns. His previous work earned him recognition as a Power Player and Most Admired CEO by the Phoenix Business Journal and Father of the Year by the American Diabetes Association. He also served on the boards the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) and the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation (SUSDF).
Since leaving Dial, Casper has primarily been building companies out of state, but maintained a strong desire to return to Arizona and help scale local companies. “Given my history working with agencies across the world, I saw significant potential in Owens Harkey,” Casper said. “While working with its talented team over the past few months, I knew we had the capacity to build something extraordinary, while also contributing to the innovative and evolving business ecosystem of greater Phoenix.”
Under Casper’s guidance, Owens Harkey will be deploying new corporate core values, purpose, agency positioning and professional service strategies to existing and potential new clients. The re-positioning of the Owens Harkey brand is slated to debut in early May 2016.
